Planned crops include dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, lisianthus, snapdragons, ranunculus, tulips, narcissus, peonies, hydrangeas, eucalyptus, herbs, and pollinator-friendly native flowers. The farm will emphasize soil health, biodiversity, succession planting, and environmentally responsible growing practices to produce premium blooms throughout the growing season.
Marketing Method
Verdyn will market directly to consumers through farmers markets, a mobile flower truck, on-farm and off-site workshops, floral subscriptions, private events, weddings, corporate installations, and seasonal pop-up experiences. Additional sales channels include an online store featuring fresh flowers, botanical goods, home and garden products, and educational content. The long-term vision is to establish Verdyn as a destination flower farm and botanical lifestyle brand serving Westchester, the Hudson Valley, and surrounding communities.

Verdyn is seeking farmland with reliable water access for irrigation, electrical service, and a barn or outbuilding suitable for equipment storage, flower processing, and seasonal operations. Existing infrastructure is preferred but not required if utilities can be added. An ideal property would also include a greenhouse or high tunnel, or space to construct one, to extend the growing season. Because Verdyn plans to host floral workshops, educational programs, and seasonal community events, adequate parking and safe visitor access are highly desirable. The ideal property offers open, well-drained fields with excellent sun exposure and room for future expansion. I am committed to being a long-term steward of the land, maintaining and improving the property while building a sustainable specialty flower farm that benefits both the land and the surrounding community.
