I'm an aspiring poultry farmer that wants to establish a low-impact micro-farm focused on Coturnix quail egg production and pastured laying chickens. Seeking 1-2 acres of agricultural land with access to a dry outbuilding/barn equipped with standard power and water.
The quail operation runs in an enclosed, vertical tower setup inside the barn. To keep the environment in the barn to be clean, I will use biological microbial treatments (EM-1) and carbon air filtration for odor control. Daily check-ins will be conducted, and manure trays are scraped every 2-3 days. Manure is offered to the landowner for free for farm use; otherwise, it is bagged and removed off-site for my personal garden use or resale. The chicken flock will use mobile coops for rotational pasture grazing.
Eggs will mainly be distributed direct-to-consumer via regional pre-order, local group-buys, or farmstand partnerships which I'm would be happy to provide.

Access to a dry, weather tight barn or outbuilding with standard 110V power and water to house my indoor vertical quail setup. For my pasture-raised chickens, I just need access to open land- my coops are fully mobile and self-contained, so I don't need any existing fencing or farm machinery.
Desired Tenure
Since I don't have much experience I am looking for a short-term lease (3-4 years agreement) with the option to renew, focused on renting 1-2 acres of land and outbuilding access.
