For the past twenty years it has produced hay. Fields are separated by forest sections. Some fields are level, some are on slopes and drain well. About 50 acres of the 165 arable land were overgrown with invasives, which we cleared two years ago and mostly brush-hogged this year, but not seeded with grass or other crops. No chemicals. spray, or fertilizer have been used in the fields for many years.
