For many years prior, and since acquiring the property (in June, 2005), the field has been mowed, spread, hayed and baled by local farmers bi-annually.

We were told by the previous owners of our property that local farmers had mowed the filed in exchange for the hay, so we continued doing that as well since buying the land in June, 2005.
Tenure Options
We are interested and open to multiple scenarios including; partnering with a local farmer who would continue mowing the field in exchange for the hay (bales), or using the field for agricultural purposes or (most ideally) flowers, so long as there is no use of toxic chemical or pesticides compromising the integrity of existing prime farmland. Additionally, we may consider grazing of sheep with proper fencing to avoid escape (eating our garden or injury from adjacent road).
