Ideally looking for someone experienced in market gardens to add veggies to our start up of beef, pork, poultry, eggs and honey. UPDATE**** housing now available - 3 bedroom 1 bath 1,500 square foot apartment in side by side duplex, hardwood floors, new carpet, new windows, paint etc - NO DISHWASHER but washer and dryer are in unit. Or the 2 bedroom 1.5 bath unit! Short commute to Cornell University and Ithaca College - terms and lease amounts to be discussed relative to terms and arrangements for the rest of the farm. ADDED BONUS - we have up to 100 hours a week through the PPL program for a geriatric living on site - immediate opportunity to earnway more than the monthly rent JUST FROM PPL!!! Dormant since 1992, previously small dairy for about 85 years. Idyllic small grazing operation - have been trying to get a milk market for 3 years and FINALLY have procured multiple letters of intent - small meat honey and eggs markets. We now have dairy, beef, pork, poultry and bees - all pastured! Milk house and equipment on site - needing installation. Would greatly prefer a couple or family if possible.
Tenure Options
Open REALLY want something happening here - a few hundred raspberry bushes, an old orchard, a newer planting of apples and grapes - honey bees production from last year about 80 pounds of deliciousness!!
