This land was certified organic for serval years and was left vacant (standing hay) in 2025. We are looking for a new farming partnerships to bring your livestock to graze these pastures and field and/or hay the fields while adding fertility. These fields are with creek access and previously used as fields for a dairy farm.

This Creekside land has been used as corn and hay crop for a dairy farm for over 80 years. The farm is transitioning to its 4th generation. We hope to connect with someone that needs more land and looking for seasonal animal management for the future. That would help bring much needed nutrients to our lands, while providing low cost feed to your animals as they grow. We are not in a position to purchase a large herd of animals, but we do have space, resources, and knowledge capacities for us to care for them!
Our last Holsteins were sold in 2019, but the herd size shrunk from over 100 milking to just 20 over the course of the last 25 years. Since 2018, the lands have been rented for hay and were certified organic by the leasing farm(s).
Land will also be available for hunting leases from Nov-May (when not in grazing).
Tenure Options
Short term lease (5yrs or less) options open to discussion. Land is not available immediately, but looking to connect with interested farmers so we can make a plan for the future.

Livestock / Crops Description
Any livestock is permitted. Currently the land is not fenced. If the right farmer approaches, new 5-6 stands high tensile electric fence for rotational grazing can be built. We can care for your animal rotating from May 1 - Nov 1 if you are farther away.
If looking to lease for land use, we prefer no-till, hay production, but open to discussion for other crops.
