As part of our month-long Celebrating the Land event, AFT's Women for the Land program is partnering with the Town of Bethlehem to host a gathering exploring community land access. We will hear about different ways communities provide access to farmland, from community farms to long-term lease agreements on protected land. A gathering of representatives from different models will share their perspectives on a panel discussion facilitated by Sarah Williford, a certified holistic farm planner and land access professional. This in‑person gathering will take place Friday, October 16th, noon - 3 PM EST at the Bethlehem Town Hall (445 Delaware Ave, Delmar, NY), and will include facilitated discussion, a tour of AFT's Celebrating the Land photo exhibit, and refreshments.
